The Why
Elizabeth (Liz) Lass is a nurse, coach, amateur writer, and philosopher at heart — who somehow ended up building a life she loves.
After 15 years in mental health nursing — specializing in eating disorders, assessments, group leadership, and interdisciplinary care — she found the thread connecting everything: eudaemonia. Aristotle's word for a life that doesn't just function, but truly flourishes. It became the foundation of The Eudaemonia Collective — a coaching and consulting practice built to help individuals and businesses align their values, knowledge, and daily actions into a life that actually feels like their own.
Her clinical background runs deep. A registered nurse, certified eating disorder specialist, and certified personal trainer — with a B.S. in both Nursing and Exercise and Sport Science — Liz brings clinical precision, movement science, and the consciousness framework of philosopher Jean Gebser to every program she designs. She believes, deeply and without apology, that meaning, harmony, and balance are not personality traits. They are skills. And she knows exactly how to teach them.
Born in Hailey, Idaho, Liz is a Cancer sun and water baby at heart — most herself chasing snow in the mountain west, running trails, swimming in open water, collecting passport stamps, and belly-laughing with the people she loves. She lives in Verdi, NV, with her handsome husband, two wild and hysterical sons, and their sweet blue heeler, Rosie.
Liz is a privileged, cisgender white woman who takes that seriously. She is deeply aware of the advantages she's had — and deeply committed to making sure they don't stop with her. That's the heartbeat behind The Eudaemonia Collective: flourishing belongs to everyone.
